Bees are dying !!! - Due to PESTICIDES !!!

To World Leaders and Agriculture Ministers:

We call on you to immediately ban the use of neonicotinoid pesticides. The catastrophic demise of bee colonies could put our whole food chain in danger. If you act urgently with precaution now, we could save bees from extinction.

Quietly, globally, billions of bees are dying, threatening our crops and food. Massive public pressure has helped convince the European Union to ban these poisonous pesticides, but we can’t stop there – these killers are used all over the world, and bees are in serious trouble.

27 European countries have approved a 2 year suspension of these poisons. It’s a big win because we know bans work – Italy has had a ban in place for years and bee populations are recovering. But, Bayer and Syngenta — the giant chemical producers — are lobbying hard to undermine the EU deal, and keep their killer poisons on the market around the world. We have to keep building a huge swarm of public outrage, so we can push leaders in Europe to stay strong — and push countries around the world to follow their lead and put our health and our environment before the profit of a few.

We know our voices count! Last year, our 1.2 million strong petition forced US authorities to open a formal consultation on pesticides and our 2.6 million petition was pivotal in influencing European countries — now if we reach 3 million, we can persuade leaders around the world to get rid of these crazy poisons. Sign the urgent petition and share this with everyone!
